Well it has been a very busy week. I have had two webinar links with America; one on Wednesday Morning and one Today, With the time difference between the two countries, the webinars saw me arising and being somewhat awake at 4am our time in Aussie Land... Hence to say that I am feeling a little tired at the moment..

Through the Social Media Univeristy, I have learnt a great deal to help my clients with their social media needs this week alone.

Firstly I have learnt that there many benefits for businesses today to have their profile, on platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and You Tube. There are many local platforms that the business or the consultant should also look into to help that business to gain their profile building.

I realised the enormous potential for business to login into sites that build partnerships with other businesses, this is amazing as many small business owners may feel that they are trapped to sell within their own community; yet there are a number of businesses out there in the World that would be interested in helping you achieve fantastic results through partnerships and affliate programs.

Like Myself the new, up and coming website for the Social Media Specialist will offer affiliate links for you to earn a few extra dollars :)

Today I learnt about the benefits of having pages in your face book profiles...So you have your own personal profile, then create pages for your business.. Facebook only allows one user to login in, so there is no room for you and your business.

You may find that facebook comes along and deletes all your profiles... So I would strongly suggest that you create pages for you businesses. The real point that I wish to make when setting up your pages is to be sure to select the type of business carefully, as once you have selected local business, organisation etc...Face book at this stage doesnt allow this to be changed.. So choose carefully.
