I would like to share my story with you all, Just the other day I was doing my grocery shopping at Woolworths with my gorgeous daughter Amie, whilst I was getting a few fruit and veges, I could hear this couple talking closely to me or where I was standing... then this gentleman middle aged put his hand on my shoulder and said "Excuse me, I told my wife this story 6 weeks ago, and I have the need to share it with you." I though ok.. I am feeling safe here in the supermarket and all.. so I said "Sure" He said to me "I was in Brisbane Airport 6 weeks ago returning to Cairns; and as you do in an airport full of people I was just watching everyone, I saw you and your daughter sitting across from me." He said "the resemblence of you two is amazing, I was admiring the way that you were both just in the moment, talking, laughing and sharing with each other, there was a glow or an energy around you both.""When I arrived home I just had to share this story with my wife."

His wife was with him whilst he was sharing this with me, and I thought how wonderful, we were in Brisbane Airport on that day, we were returning home after my Grandfathers funeral, and yes Amie and I were bouncing off each other - our energies - we were thinking about the funeral and how sad it was and we were enjoying the fact that we got to rekindle so many friendships with our relatives... We were in each others moment, no body else was in the airport except us...

This story is inspirational for me and my daughter, I find it amazing that what we do as individuals may not go un noticed, and what effect did we have on this gentleman and his family.. Who knows - I never got his name or his wifes.. as I was in Aw... that he took the time to share his story with us... however Mr Airport Gentleman, Thank you... I appreciate your story...

What hits home for me is the energy that we have and how this affects others...
